Kathleen A. Johnson - Gallery In her recent work, Kathleen A. Johnson explores photography and computer-based tools to create pieces that are a combination of photography and painting. Kathleen applies various techniques to her photographs and paintings to create her unique vision of her subjects. She will often layer many images to create her digital collage. She then transfers it to high quality acid-fee paper. At this point she may work further on the piece with ink, pastel, pencil or watercolor, to achieve the final result. Kathleen’s studio is in Edmonds, WA, her work has won several awards and is featured in a number of juried exhibitions, shows, and galleries. |
