Meredith MacLeod - Gallery With her passion for printmaking and the skills of a glass tile maker, Meredith MacLeod’s new work explores a combination of techniques. In her mixed-media monotypes Macleod layers colors and shapes from carved rubber stamps, simulating a textile or wallpaper monoprint. Recently MacLeod has been combining the media of glass and print to create hand painted, fused glass panels. MacLeod uses vibrant colors and explores the theme of birds throughout her body of work. MacLeod’s goal is to evoke an interest in something old that can recast itself as new. |
