Announcing the 2021 Larry Sommers Fellowship Award Winner

Seattle Print Arts is thrilled to announce that Edie Overturf has been named the 2021 Larry Sommers Fellowship recipient.

Edie plans to create a new series of her darkly humorous prints, incorporating sculptural elements during her fellowship.

Edie Overturf lives in Portland, Oregon, and teaches printmaking and drawing at Mount Hood Community College. Edie received her BFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she focused on drawing and printmaking. She then received her MFA at California State University Chico, where she specialized in printmaking and sculpture. She is currently attending a Professional Development residency at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking @contemprints and is represented by Zinc Contemporary Gallery in Seattle @zinccontemporary.
